Showing Up for Youth in the City of Detroit
Esteem We to Host Upcoming Youth Day Explosion and Launch to Esteem Youth and the Community
Detroit, MI., April 30, 2014-- On Friday, June 06, 2014, the Esteem We Professional Community Action Group will host a Youth Day Explosion from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Cobo Center for Detroit students ages 13-19 and a Community Reception and Launch to follow from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for Professionals, Community and Youth Leaders.
At the youth day explosion themed “Nothing is Impossible,” Esteem We Detroit Professional Community Action Group brings some of the best successful local business professionals, entrepreneurs, youth advocates and more together to engage and expose Metro Detroit students to possibilities with an emphasis on life skills and goal setting. The Youth explosion includes: Keynote Speakers, Empowering Workshops, Celebrity Guest, Community and Youth Panel, Giveaways, Community Vendors and Entertainment.
At the community reception, Esteem We Professional Community Action Group (EWPCAG) will launch the Detroit Possible campaign and fundraiser. Detroit Possible (a new business startup in the City of Detroit) helps mobilize and train professionals and volunteers to work with small businesses in the community and to esteem students in mini assembly style youth days during the school year.
